Strong lines
Arches are inherently strong their shape makes it possible to span wider areas with less supports and less material I want to explore its strength to find curves that can be used to make jewellery with strong lines. Steel cable is an extremely strong material that is used in bridges to span great distances I want to see how I can use this strong line to make jewellery.

this is the forged section of the coffee grinder. I have decided to leave the forged texture on it and clean and polish the edges to give it a finished look
